With a focus on both aesthetics and practicality, the space is designed to foster a sense of community while supporting students’ academic and personal growth.
BellaBe Designs: Making Student Living Better
BellaBe Designs set out to transform the Endeavour Court amenity spaces into a stylish and comfortable environment that students would truly enjoy. With a focus on regeneration and sustainability, the design team blended contemporary elements with thoughtful, student-friendly features. The result? A modern, welcoming space where students feel right at home.
The project, which kicked off mid-summer, was completed in just a matter of weeks—just in time for new students arriving before Christmas 2024. Quick turnaround, high-quality results, and a focus on student well-being made this transformation a huge success.
Why Good Accommodation Matters
BellaBe Designs understands that where students live play a crucial role in their university experience. Research shows that students who enjoy their living spaces feel happier, experience less stress, and perform better academically. According to Neale et al. (2016), well-designed communal areas help students feel more connected, enhancing their overall well-being and engagement.
By creating thoughtfully designed communal spaces, Endeavour Court ensures that students feel comfortable, supported, and ready to make the most of their university years.
A Welcoming Student Community
Living at Endeavour Court isn’t just about having a place to crash—it’s about becoming part of a lively, friendly community. Whether it’s making new friends, collaborating on projects, or just unwinding after a long day, the shared spaces bring students together. Having that sense of belonging makes a huge difference, making student life more enjoyable and less stressful.
Stylish and Functional Spaces
The brief for this refurbishment was to design amenities that are both stylish and functional. BellaBe Designs embraced natural material effects like wood and stone, paired with green tones inspired by biomimicry, to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. These choices evoke a nature-connected vibe that promotes relaxation and well-being. To keep maintenance low while still enhancing the ambiance, faux plants were used throughout, adding vibrancy and freshness without the upkeep.
Key Amenity Spaces
The shared spaces at Endeavour Court were carefully redesigned with students in mind, creating an environment that balances study, relaxation, and social interaction:-
Cinema Room: A cozy space perfect for movie nights, unwinding with friends, or catching up on the latest series.
Co-Working Space: A productive area with ample seating, ideal for focused work or group collaborations.
Group Study Space: A dedicated spot for brainstorming, group discussions, and tackling assignments together or alone.
Games Room with Coffee Station: A fun and social hub featuring games, a relaxed seating area, and a convenient coffee station to keep energy levels up.
Central Amenity Area: The heart of Endeavour Court, where students can hang out, and simply relax in a welcoming environment.
